Dr Nowlan has a special interest in anxiety and depression
(including social anxiety, panic disorder, obsessive compulsive anxiety, generalised anxiety, agoraphobia,
​illness anxiety and perfectionism) as well as coping with chronic pain and other physical health conditions

She has work experience at the Nepean Hospital Anxiety Disorders Clinic and
​the Royal North Shore Hospital Chronic Pain Unit

Dr Nowlan offers psychology treatment for adults aged 21 years and older

​She has a special interest in working with older adults (65 years and older), having worked at the
Specialist Mental Health Service for Older Persons at Wollongong Hospital and conducted research in
​older adult mental health at The Emotional Health Clinic, Macquarie University

50 minute sessions

With a Mental Health Care Plan referral from your GP, you can claim a rebate for up to 10 sessions per calendar year, which leaves you with a $115 gap fee per session
